The Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM) publishes comprehensive medical books, mobile apps, and digital resources used in medical education. The Institute also has extensive experience in organizing educational events for the medical sector. As a not-for-profit organization, we actively seek partnerships with socially responsible businesses to support our mission.
All income generated by the Institute is directed towards our statutory activities, benefiting the global community of physicians and other health-care professionals, and ultimately the patients. While most of our publications and courses involve a participation fee, additional funds enable us to bridge the income gap between health care professionals worldwide. This includes:
- Assisting young physicians from low- and middle-income countries by providing participation fee waivers and free accommodation for the Young Talents in Internal Medicine event in Kraków, Poland
- Offering free access to our online platforms, courses, and conferences
- Providing books to students and physicians in need of professional education
- Publishing articles and video interviews without paywalls
- Fostering connections between medical educators and university faculty, facilitating knowledge and experience exchange
- Translating essential medical materials into Polish, English, Spanish, and Ukrainian
Please note that we place a strong emphasis on being unbiased. The majority of our content and courses are accredited and endorsed by various institutions, such as the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®), the American Medical Association, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU-CME), the American College of Physicians (ACP), INFARMA, and Ethical MedTech. We are committed to abiding by the relevant rules of accreditation.
