The Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine participated in the 37th World Congress of Internal Medicine (WCIM 2024) in Prague.
The congress took place between October 29 and November 2, 2024. It was organized by the International Society of Internal Medicine and the Czech Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně. This year’s event was attended by close to 3100 health care professionals from all over the world.
The WCIM Internal Medicine session on November 1 was chaired by Roman Jaeschke, Vice-President of PIEBM.
WCIM 2024 offered a myriad of opportunities for networking and strengthening working relationships with experts in the field of internal medicine, including representatives of scientific societies from different countries. Piotr Gajewski, President of PIEBM, participated in a meeting with the International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM) to explore options for collaboration and implementation of joint projects involving health care professionals and medical students from Poland and abroad.
Our team members were happy to present the PIEBM portfolio and discuss our mission with the participants. We were delighted to answer so many questions.
PIEBM was able to attend WCIM 2024 thanks to the financial support provided by the National Institute of Freedom – Center for Civil Society Development as part of the Government Program for Civil Society Organizations Development for 2018-2030 CSODev.
